OPTIBELT - Wins IADA '2011 - Supplier of the Year Award

OPTIBELT (UK) has been awarded the ‘2011 - Supplier of the Year Award’ from IADA, the Independent Authorised Distributor Alliance.
Optibelt UK are the UK distribution and support centre for German based Optibelt GmbH, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality and technically advanced transmission belts.
Chris Rice - Managing Director of Optibelt (UK) received the award on behalf of his team from Mike Casson - Chairman of IADA, saying “That having only just become a principal supplier to the IADA group a short while ago, it is an honour and testament to Optibelt’s brand credentials, to be recognised as having consistently offered an exceptional customer service, in terms of our product quality, performance, stock availability and delivery”.
He went on to say : “Most of our competitors have pulled out of the UK market in favour of centralised European distribution centres. However, Optibelt’s policy is to maintain local stock and support close to the customer and we will continue to do this”.
IADA was formed in 1998 by a select group of independent distributors, with the aim of becoming a nationally networked supplier of ‘MRO Supply Solutions’, which today operates over 50 branches across the UK and uses Optibelt as its primary supplier of fully integrated ‘Rubber & PU’ power transmission, timing, synchronous, conveyor and cleated belts, including linear positioning belts.
