Procentec has released a new version of its ProfiHub B5 5-channel repeater.
The B5+RD features a built-in PROFIBUS DP slave to forward diagnostic data to a PLC or DCS. With the diagnostic features activated, it can report on any network failures such as repeat or illegal messages, missing ProfiHub termination and live list changes or power supply problems.
