Process safety event for high hazard industries
24 Feb 2015
The Institution of Chemical Engineer’s (IChemE’s) leading process safety event for the high hazard industries is taking place in Edinburgh, UK on 13–15 May.
Organised by the IChemE in association with the Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center, Hazards 25 will share best practice, latest research and lessons learned in chemical and process safety to help embed the highest possible standards across the industry.
This is an ideal event for anyone who is active in process safety and risk management for chemical process plants or other facilities dealing with hazardous materials, with presentations designed to appeal to both new and experienced practitioners.
A comprehensive technical programme will examine the themes that are fundamental to managing and reducing risk effectively to prevent process incidents from happening.
The international keynote speaker line-up includes John Bresland, former chair of the US Chemical Safety Board (CSB), and Sam Mannan of Texas A&M University, US, who will deliver the first ever Trevor Kletz lecture, honouring Kletz’s major contribution to the Hazards conference series.
There will be an exhibition of related products and services alongside the conference.
