Fluke unveils entry-level TiX camera
6 Oct 2015

The Fluke TiX500 infrared camera allows thermographers to navigate over, under, and around objects to preview and capture images.
The Fluke TiX Expert Series cameras are used for predictive maintenance, oil and gas, and utility applications, and enable users to share their data in real time via Fluke Connect.
The 14.5cm LCD touchscreen provides a large viewing area, and the SuperResolution mode boosts resolution by four times, Fluke claims. Optional telephoto and wide-angle lenses can also add versatility.
The camera features LaserSharp Auto Focus, which uses a built-in laser distance meter to pinpoint the target, and calculate and display the distance.
The addition of IR-Fusion technology offers Picture-in-Picture, and full visible light and AutoBlend modes ease the identification and reporting of problems. On-board advanced analytics also allow users to adjust or enhance images right on the camera without additional software.
Also included is Fluke SmartView software, which provides a suite of advanced tools to view, optimise, annotate, and analyse infrared images, and generate fully customisable reports.
