Ashtead Technology’s experience in providing a full maintenance and calibration service for volatile organic compounds (VOC) monitors led to the company recommending the MiniRAE 3000 to digital print technology business Tonejet.
Tonejet's no-nozzle printing technology uses 10-20 times less ink than traditional inkjet processes, saving costs and lowering VOC emissions, while printing on a wide range of substrates for both flat and curved surfaces, the company says.
Tonejet purchased the MiniRAE 3000 portable VOC monitor – which boasts a fast response time – from Ashtead Technology to help protect staff, and for conformity with the ATEX directive and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EEC on CE-marking.
The company also wanted to measure the small amounts of vapour lost during the print and varnish processes.
