Honeywell ramps up cyber security

Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) and Palo Alto Networks have joined forces to increase the cyber security capabilities of control systems used by industrial facilities and critical infrastructure.
The companies' joint solution is designed to offer “unrivalled” process network traffic monitoring and advanced threat prevention across the automation environment, HPS said.

It combines Palo Alto Networks’ natively integrated security platform with Honeywell’s process control domain expertise to provide a cyber security solution tailored for industrial customers, HPS added.
