The GE Druck DPI620 Genii IS advanced modular calibrator and HART/Foundation Fieldbus communicator are designed to measure and source a multitude of electrical signals located in hazardous areas.
Building on the success of the DPI620 Genii, the IS multifunction calibrator is modular in concept, allowing a variety of hardware and software options to be configured to suit a wide range of different applications, says the company.
The calibrator also has ATEX and IECEx approvals for the test, calibration, commissioning and maintenance of a broad range of measurement and control devices situated in hazardous zones one and two where explosive gas and air mixtures can occur.
GE adds that the DPI620 Genii IS handheld has a touch and swipe display which greatly simplifies the user interface. As a result, the set up for most applications takes just two or three touches.
