Crowcon Gas-Pro is a confined space entry (CSE) monitoring solution for workers and fleet managers.
The Gas-Pro pre-entry check mode on the detector guides the user though checks for gas hazards before entry, says the company, and an optional internal pump automatically turns on when the flow plate is attached.
Pumped and diffusion solutions are designed to offer multiple uses within the one instrument.
The compact size also means it doesn’t interfere with the primary activity, says Crowcon, nor get in the way of other personal protective equipment, another key feature in a confined space. The Positive Safety feature provides a quick status check of the Gas-Pro.
The company adds that safe confined space entry requires careful application of specialist equipment, and it is unusual to find a gas detector, such as the Gas-Pro, specifically designed for the task.
