NCC Bund Lining’s Sikafloor systems are designed to provide high-performance flooring protection for industrial facilities.
The Sikafloor 261 is an epoxy resin-based, self-smoothing resin mortar, while the Sikafloor 356N is a polyurethane resin – both are solvent-free. The Sikafloor 261, available in most colours, provides durable cleanroom and hygienic floor coating, says the company. Slip resistant and non-slip profiles are incorporated to ensure operator safety.
These were the products of choice employed by specialist contractors PJ McGrath and Sons to complete its contract for generic pharmaceuticals manufacturer IVAX Pharmaceuticals. McGrath had the task of supplying more than 3,200 square metres of high performance resin flooring for the IVAX modern product facility at Preston Brook, Runcorn.
The contract included the installation of 1,200 square metres of high tolerance, cleanroom standard floors and 2,000 square metres of hygienic and easy-to-clean pharmaceutical processing and packaging area floors.
