New and more advanced technology brings new challenges and better ways to calibrate, whether it is for temperature or pressure, or calibrating data and implementing process changes.
Beamex are a business built around calibration: Creating headlines at Hazardex in March 2017 where they will be presenting state-of-the-art calibrators alongside experts to answer questions about modern calibration problems and solutions.
Beamex explains that customers want to do more, with fewer resources, while maintaining safety standards, product quality and reacting speedily to new regulations.
Through services such as calibrator development, specialist software writing and bench testing calibration workbenches, they strive to provide better ways for customers to perform and manage their calibrations.
The CMX calibration software also has a bolt on maintenance inspection module allowing for inspection checklists to be downloaded to a tablet from the same interface as calibration schedules, making it easier for the same technician to carry out both tasks simultaneously.
It is not surprising then to see Beamex represented in force at the Hazardex 2017 Conference & Exhibition being held in Runcorn on March 2nd & 3rd.
This conference, aimed at hazardous areas and process safety specialists, is the perfect venue to view calibration instruments and talk with experts such as Beamex’s Andy Morsman.
Instruments present will include the Beamex MC5-IS calibrator and the Beamex MC2-IS multifunction calibrator.
The Beamex MC5-IS is an example of an ATEX and IECEx certified MC5-IS instrument designed for use in potentially explosive environments. This includes such hostile areas as offshore platforms, oil refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants where inflammable gases may be present.
The modular construction of the MC5-IS makes it highly versatile and it can be ordered as a pressure or temperature stand-alone calibrator, and can later be expanded into a data-logging, documenting multifunction instrument.
And because Fieldbus installations are growing rapidly worldwide, Beamex have answered this demand by introducing the MC5-IS fieldbus calibrator that provides capability for calibrating Foundation Fieldbus H1 or Profibus PA transmitters.
Also on show, is the Beamex MC2-IS multifunction calibrator, which is a smaller, compact, lightweight, portable instrument with a large graphical display - ATEX and IECEx certified and can again be used in potentially explosive environments.
The Beamex MC2-IS connects to almost 20 available Beamex intrinsically safe external pressure modules.
Alongside the calibrators on the Beamex stand there will be experts such as Andy Morsman, available to answer your questions on important subjects such as how Proof Testing tasks differ from typical calibrations.
Go and meet the Beamex team on stand 18 at HAZARDEX 2017.
