April 2017 will see two major manufacturing events hosted in the UK – the Industry 4.0 Summit and the Factories of the Future Expo.
Showcasing thousands of innovations to help manufacturers digitise and upgrade operations, these events are dedicated to the future of manufacturing.
A line-up of speakers from leading companies will be sharing their experiences – including Bosch Rexroth, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Unilever, Cisco, IBM, Dassault Systèmes and Airbus.
Hosted at the Manchester Convention Centre (4-5 April), the Industry 4.0 Summit is thought to be Europe’s largest gathering of solutions providers, innovators and technology buyers looking to get ready for this step-change in global manufacturing.
Event director Gary Gilmour said: “To remain competitive, manufacturers of all sizes need knowledge, training and solutions to improve productivity, shorten product development cycles and mass produce customised products as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
“They will find all of this and much, much more at the Industry 4.0 Summit. Small and medium manufacturers are the lifeblood of the British economy and it is imperative for them to adopt Industry 4.0.”
Organisers of the Industry 4.0 Summit have pledged to address the digitisation of manufacturing and the radical transformations taking place in the worldwide manufacturing industry.
