Mettler Toledo offers gas analysis using tunable diode laser (TDL) devices which are rapidly gaining acceptance across the process industries.
The lasers are becoming a popular alternative to technologies such as paramagnetic, NDIR, zirconia analysers and pellistor-based sensors.
The company’s latest application note is entitled ‘In situ gas analysis wherever it is required’ and focuses on how the GPro 500 Series of TDL gas analysers provide high reliability in a diverse range of applications.
Advantages of this technology, says the company, include: the sender and receiver being in the same unit, a high tolerance to heat and dust, and an adaptability to a wide range of gases.
