Process leader Austin replaces retiring Valente as TUV SUD UK chief

TUV SUD has appointed Brian Austin as its new CEO for the UK and Ireland, succeeding Michael Valente who is due to retire.
Austin, who has held senior-level roles across a range of other industries, including aerospace, defence and oil and gas will have charge of seven specialist divisions with a total turnover of £55 million.
He was previously CEO of Dutch group Kiwa’s six-company UK subsidiary which operates across a variety of process sectors. Before the appointment he served as director Europe for Castle Metals Aerospace and Castle Metals UK after working as MD for Kembrey Wiring Systems.
