Magnetrol’s Eclipse Model 706 features an innovative (patent-pending) design concept – Diode Switched Front End – that can dramatically reduce the impact of noise and increase overall guided wave radar (GWR) transmitter performance, says the company.
This new circuit design completely isolates the transmit path from the receive path, thereby maximising receiver sensitivity and impedance matching.
An important parameter for reliable level measurement in difficult applications is the overall signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
This is a critical performance indicator and the Eclipse Model 706 has a SNR nearly three times higher than competitors, says the company.
