Engineers get to voice their thoughts on state of the nation
9 Oct 2019
The UK’s engineers are invited to share their views on the political, industrial and other challenges facing their profession in a new poll that aims to influence policymakers.
Advanced Engineering’s Voice of Industry Survey is inviting professionals to share their insights by taking part in a questionnaire before its annual show begins on 30 October.
The exercise follows the publication of the organisation’s Voice of Industry report, based on responses from firms ranging from large to SMEs.
Head of Marketing Jeremy Whittingham explained:
“It is our aim to give a voice to the engineering industry to show how resourceful and resilient it can be, regardless of whatever challenges it may face.
“By creating a unified perspective from those in the industry, not only will responses help direct us and ensure we are covering topics that are important to our, it also has the potential to influence industry stakeholders and government directive.”
The Advanced Engineering show is held from 30-31 October at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, for 15,000 professionals, with dedicated zones for a variety of sectors including connected manufacturing.
