Edwin James Group reports £140 million turnover

Edwin James Group has achieved an annual revenue of circa £140 million for the 12-month period ending February 2019 – a year on year growth of more than 30%.
The engineering services group recently which recently acquired Jex Process Services and Peak42, has head offices in Glasgow and Burton-on-Trent and more than 1,200 employees.
The annual figures do not included the purchases: Jex Process Services, based in Manchester and Redditch was acquired in June; Control and automation specialists Peak42 was acquired in July.
Chief executive officer Derek Smith (pictured), said: “These results mark another year of continued growth for our business and puts us in a strong.
The acquisition of these businesses adds expertise and depth to our group and is aligned with our strategy to bring together well-respected, established businesses to create a full-service national operator.
The group also has sites in Manchester, Warrington, Inverness, Aberdeen, Reading, Newcastle, Chesterfield, Redditch, Swadlincote and Peterborough.
