In partnership with customers, Sandvik jointly develops products and materials that meet the challenges of the future. A broad range of high-performance tubular materials is offered. For example, Duplex steels and high temperature stainless steel, to name a few.
Duplex steels are extremely resistant to corrosion and have exceptional mechanical strength. The hyper-duplex steel Sandvik SAF 2707 HD can serve as an alternative to nickel alloys and high-alloy austenitic stainless steels in the most demanding applications.
Sandvik’s materials for high-temperature environments contribute to prolonged tube life and/or more efficient processes in a wide range of applications. The company’s high-temperature tubes are used, for example, as recuperator tubes, lance tubes, muffle tubes, thermocouple protection tubes and in various types of boilers.
Additionally, Sandvik also has a technical centre with access to data sheets and podcasts and other useful information, to assist customers with material selection.
