Rotherham advanced solutions firm gains US foothold

Plant reliability specialist AVT Reliability has opened its first subsidiary in the USA, following a European expansion.
AVT Reliability which is a sister company to AESSEAL – both owned by Rotherham based AES Engineering – has established a base in Rockford, Tennessee.
AVT Reliability MD Frederic Thomas said: “We are at a turning point in our strategy and are very excited to be introducing our advanced solutions to the American market.
“We work constantly to improve the reliability and lifespan of our customers’ assets, via innovative and sustainable solutions, and are proud that our European customers report increased uptime and reduced maintenance and operating costs.”
The firm recently showcased its Machine Sentry suite of products for the first time in America at the MARCON 2020 maintenance and reliability conference this month.
AVT recently made an acquisition on the European mainland, with the acquisition of Dutch company Van Geffen.
