Process Engineering LinkedIn site surpasses 15k with global network

Process Engineering’s LinkedIn platform has surpassed the 15,000 follower mark, fuelled by a surge of interest in the UK industry, with much of it from overseas.
The site which had fewer than 500 followers five years ago, has mushroomed in the last two years with especially strong interest from businesses and engineers in South Asia, especially India.
More than one in four (26%) are located in leading process sites in the country, led by Mumbai.
Significant followership comes too from other key regions for the sector, led by Algeria, Brazil, the Houston area of the USA and Singapore.
“Supply chain and export pressures, not to mention job opportunities appear to be firing interest,” said Process Engineering editor Brian Attwood.
“For business in the UK and elsewhere that need to build connections, a thriving LinkedIn platform such as ours provides a valuable networking tool. We’re happy to provide that space for companies, employers and practitioners who wish to connect.”
