Corrosive atmospheres and acid spillages no problem for Vanton

Designed for use with corrosive fluids, Vanton's thermoplastic pump range includes configurations for most applications.
Heavy-duty applications requiring flow-rates up to 250m3/hr are covered by the Chem-Gard series. Wet-end components are moulded from PVC, PVDF or polypropylene, while moving parts are protected by plastic covers from acid spillage and corrosive atmospheres. The range will provide discharge heads up to 125m at temperatures up to 135 degrees C both continually and intermittently, and is available in vertical and horizontal configurations.
The Sump-Gard pump range is intended for use where corrosive chemicals and other hazardous substances are stored in tanks or spillage sumps. Capable of handling heads up to 80m and flows up to 200m3/hr, the pumps are particularly suited to applications such as chemical processing, electroplating and pollution control.
Vanton also supplies a range of thermoplastic vortex pumps, which handle corrosive and abrasive fluids that include stringy solids, sludges and slurries. These pumps feature a recessed impeller to avoid problems with clogging and fouling that would affect conventional pumps.
