No compromises with multi-loop controller

According to ABB Kent-Taylor, process plant engineers wanting to implement defined control strategies often have to compromise by paying for multiple installations or for built-in functionality that isn't really needed. With the company's new ABB MOD 30ML multi-loop controller, however, the user has a single, flexible instrument package that can be customised and costed to match the exact control needs for the specific applications.
Aimed particularly at the industrial boiler market, though applicable across the process industries, the 30ML controller offers from one to six loops of PID control, built-in and modular I/O, removable terminations, universal power supply and operator interface together with sufficient function blocks, including maths, logic, sequencing, signal selection, communications and alarms, to tackle the most advanced of control applications.
At its simplest, the controller can be used with its factory configuration for single loop control. More complex configurations can be accessed through the operator interface, or the user can configure multiple PID loops, sequencing and maths/logic through the ABB Application Builder software.
