Chemicals in difficult spin

Zeneca Agrochemicals has installed three turnkey centrifuge systems from Krauss Maffei for the processing of agrochemicals at its Grangemouth manufacturing site.
Each system consists of a peeler centrifuge, a table feeder, a vacuum plate dryer, skids for heating and cooling and solvent recovery circuit. Tim Wrate, senior process engineer at Zeneca, said: `This was a product which was particularly difficult to isolate so we knew we were going to need a high quality centrifuge system.' Barry Dumble of Krauss Maffei said: `We form a partnership with our customers so we can engineer complete component separation lines to meet their needs.'
