Fast track for maintenance

With its `one-nut' design, Flotronic's Chemflo diaphragm pump lends itself to easy maintenance - a particularly important feature in hazardous areas. A failed diaphragm can be changed in less than ten minutes, without the pump having to be removed from process pipework.
According to Flotronic, the Chemflo is particularly suited to the chemical industry, where it's important for engineers to spend little time in contaminated areas. Unlike electrical pumps that need monitoring to ensure they do not run dry, the air-driven Chemflo can be left running in the event of a process upset.
For added safety, the solid virgin PTFE housing of the Chemflo is contained inside an outer metal containment of carbon or stainless steel. And unlike traditional diaphragm pumps, liquid passes on the inside of the pump with pressure applied on the outside. If a diaphragm ruptures, the whole line is not contaminated.
