Taking place on 4-6 June 2013, the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition will cover every aspect of the processing and packaging industry.
Hundreds of exhibitors from across the UK packaging and processing industries will be demonstrating the advantages of their equipment at the 2013 Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition.
Comprising of three dedicated hubs including Pakex, PPMA and Interphex, visitors are invited to discover the latest in packaging design at the Pakex Hub, machinery to enhance productivity at the PPMA show and new manufacturing solutions designed for the pharmaceutical industry in the Interphex hub.

Free-to-attend seminars will also be available at the Pakex Innovation Hub, Manufacturing Forum, sponsored by Linx Printing Technologies and the Interphex Theatre, sponsored by Burkert Fluid Control Systems, featuring experts from Kerry Foods, Tyrrells, GlaxoSmithKline and Marks & Spencer.
Attendees will be able to gain an exclusive insight into the industry’s most pressing trends with seminar sessions including ‘Innovation from A to B: Fortifying the supply chain’, ‘Understanding the industry to create brand growth’, ‘Anti-counterfeiting: how to minimise fakes and thefts’ and ‘Complexities behind tertiary packaging for transportation’.
The seminar programme will be chaired by editors from Process Engineering, Machinery Update, The Manufacturer, Packaging News, Packaging Gazette and Pharmamceutical Manufacturing and Packing Source (PMPS). Other speakers include International Society for Phamaceutical Engineering (ISPE) chair, Bruce Williams, Thrive design agency founder, Doug James and Alan Isaacs, founder and architect of packaging and converting process machinery for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Recognising the best and brightest up and coming talent in the industry will also be a key focus at the Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition 2013 with the return of the Ones to Watch competition and the launch of the new Packaging Design Challenge.
New to the Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition 2013, the Packaging Design Challenge recognises the innovation and imagination of packaging professionals. Led by an panel of packaging experts and investors, candidates are invited to submit new packaging design concepts in response to four pre-determined scenarios that address key industry trends.
The final candidates will not only have their concepts showcased live at the show, but will be in with a chance to secure a real financial investment. If you have a concept or packaging idea you’d like to see on shop shelves.
