Eisele expands its corrosion hazard line
25 Sep 2013
The Liquidline range has been expanded to include coolant connections made of aluminium in case of corrosion hazard.
With the Liquidline, Eisele is offering its customers one of the most comprehensive lines of components for closed coolant applications.
In circuits equipped with aluminium heat sinks, aluminium connections are also needed, in order to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the aluminium cooler.
Liquid coolers are often made of aluminium due to the high thermal conductivity of the material and generally remain in service for several years.
To guarantee reliable connection technology, compatible materials have to be used. For these applications, the 2500 series of the Eisele Liquidline has now been expanded to include threaded connections made of corrosion-resistant aluminium.
The 2500 series of the Liquidline comprises threaded connections with a full nominal diameter. It is ideal for motion-intensive applications requiring solid connections with maximum holding power or for applications with increased strain on the hoses.
Liquidline connections are resistant to high temperatures, aggressive aqueous media and many other substances. They are optimised for dissipating heat from applications such as welding processes or power electronics installations. This requires high flow rates in a compact space. In addition to the 2500 series with threaded connections there are two more series that feature release sleeves.
