Automation control supplier Unitronics has launched its latest range of all-in-one Samba HMI + PLC controllers for OEMs.
The controllers feature a colour screen, on-board I/O configuration, and the SM35-J-RA22 and SM43-J-RA22 models come with 12 digital outputs.
Samba uses Unitronics’ VisiLogic software, which provides a single environment for hardware and communications configuration, Ladder application development, and HMI design, the company says.
Meanwhile, its ‘Jazz’ range, which also has two models, is designed as a ‘low-cost’ solution for simple projects that require a PLC and a text-only HMI panel.
Both Jazz models support the Ethernet Add-on module, enabling customers to implement both MODBUS/TCP and PC-PLC communications, Unitronics adds.
Jazz controllers are specifically designed to control small machines, and to perform simple-to-medium automation tasks.
