Developed in partnership with experts within the human factors and process safety sectors, risk management training from the Energy Institute (EI) supports organisations in delivering best practice as a core component of their risk management strategy.

Delegates gain a theoretical and practical overview of the Tripod Beta methodology and learn how to conduct incident investigations.
Human factors foundation (7-11 November)
Learn how human and organisational factors influence behaviour at work and improve HSE performance by applying common approaches in a major hazard context.
Hazardous area classification (8-10 November)
This course is based on the internationally recognised publication EI15 standard Area classification code for installations handing flammable fluids.
Delivering safety culture change using the hearts & minds toolkit (29 November–1 December)
Learn the fundamentals of improving safety culture by focusing on the various stages of a culture change programme: design, implementation and review.
Human factors – incident investigation and analysis – in-house training (see website for future dates)
A workshop focusing on the analysis of incidents and accident, clarifying the process of identifying root causes using practical examples.
